What is the difference between MERV 8, MERV 10 and MERV 11?

Simply, the higher the number gets,  the higher is the efficiency of removal of fine particles and allergens. Therefore, cleaner air !                                                                  

At what frequency should a filter be changed ?

It is recommended to change the filter every 3 months at maximum. However, if there are children and/ or pets in the house, it is better to change it on a monthly basis.

Filters shall be Aerostar® NOVApleat extended surface pleated air filters as manufactured by DAFCO Filtration Group in Montreal, Canada
Underwriters laboratories classified to UL 900 (Merv 8, Merv 10 and Merv 11) and ULC-S111-07 (Merv 8 and Merv 10)
Media shall be 100% synthetic media that does not support microbial growth
Filters shall withstand a continuous operating temperature up to 200 F (150 F for Merv 11)
